Main Concepts

The rule for dividing signed numbers is positive / negative = negative and negative / positive = negative and a negative / a negative = positive.
When expressing division as fractions the entire term is considered negative.
The rule for multiplying signed numbers is positive x negative = negative and negative x positive = negative and a negative x a negative = positive.
