Instructions

Play through this interactive game to learn about Tell, Write And Measure Time In Minute Intervals. Suitable for Grade 3, Grade 4, Grade 5.

Main Concepts

Hours are broken into 60 minute intervals.
Tell time using the hour and minute hand to determine time to the nearest minute.
Write a time down to the closest minute interval using proper notation of hour : minute, ex 1:30.
Determine time intervals by finding differences in minutes, ex 1:30 to 2:00 is 30 minutes.
When determining time take note that the next hour starts after 60 minutes passes.
Add minutes to a time to determine a later time, ex. what time will it be 20 minutes after 3:00?
Use diagrams to model difference of time (Number Line Diagrams).
